My storyHi Everyone I have chosen Arthritis Research UK, as my charity for the Virgin London 2012 Marathon on Sunday 22nd April. I have spent the last 8 years working in our mobility shop and have come into contact with people with this common condition, so it feels right to run on behalf of this charity. There are over 200 different types of arthritis, the most common being osteoarthritis. Many arthritis sufferers are between 30 and 50 years old. It's not just an older persons's disease! Wish me luck as I continue to train and"clock up" those miles.
