Travel scooters are the most popular category of mobility scooter. A Travel Scooter can be easily transported and broken down into a few smaller and lighter parts. As Travel scooters progress in their design, we pleased to see that most Travel Scooters no longer require the disconnection of leads when taking apart. Just the simple touch of a lever can now safely dismantle a scooter. We have found that some popular and reliable models are the , Pride GoGo Elite Traveller & Traveller Plus Mobility Scooter, KymcoMiniSFoRU Travel Scooter, Electric Mobility 480 Scooter, Shoprider Cameo Mobility Scooter and Patterson Medical ST2 Travel Scooter.. Some types of travel mobility scooter have slightly larger batteries and can carry a more substantial load. While this type of mobility scooter tends to weigh more than their smaller cousins they are very useful for the heavier user or the person who might need to travel a greater distance. Examples of this type of mobility scooter are the, Pride GoGo Elite Traveller Plus Scooter, RMA Shoprider Paris Scooter or the KymcoMiniSFoRU Travel Mobility scooter.
